Who are we?
Global Brigades is the world’s largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. Since 2004, Global Brigades has mobilized both university students and professionals to work in partnership with local community members to improve quality of life in under resourced regions, all while retaining respect for local culture.
The faction of Global Brigades that focuses specifically on the health-related issues of under-resourced communities is Global Medical and Dental Brigades (us). The goal of Global Medical and Dental Brigades is to provide consistent access to healthcare by using an economically sustainable model. We are comprised of students, physicans and community members collaboratively working together to make self-sustaining change in communities within Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama.
